What are waiting days?

Waiting days are unpaid days in the event of illness. During these days, the employment agency is not obliged to continue to pay wages to an agency worker.

An agency work employment contract with agency clause is subject to two waiting days, one of which is compensated by means of an increase in the wage (the so-called waiting day compensation).
An agency work employment contract without an agency clause is subject to one waiting day.
