What is suitable alternative work?

Work is deemed suitable if the new position is in keeping with previous work performed, the training and abilities of the agency worker or if the new position is at the same level or a maximum of two levels lower than the previous position. The employment agency conducts a reassignment interview with the agency worker focused on his reassignment options.

If it appears that no suitable alternative work can be offered, an employment agency can submit a request to the Employee Insurance Agency (UWV) for permission to terminate the agency work employment contract.
