When is an agency worker entitled to a pay rise?

An agency worker is entitled to an initial pay rise and increments equal to those of employees employed by the client (with an equal rise).

  • If the agency worker works at different clients through the employment agency, the employment agency will take this work experience into account with each subsequent assignment in (practically) the same position when deciding to grant an incremental raise.
  • If the agency worker enters employment at another employment agency within the same group, the new employment agency too takes into account the work experience with each subsequent assignment in (virtually) the same position when granting an incremental raise.
